  15. We have a DECstation 5000/125 running Ultrix 4.2A with a PMAG-A graphics card
  16. and a VR319-D4 monitor (simple 19" monochrome display).

  18. The problem being, we DON'T want to run X as this machine is running as a news
  19. server and X will 
  20. consume valuable resources.  What is needed is to know the terminal type for a
  21. standard
  22. console so that the TERM environment variable can be set.
