- I'm not sure this is true. I have a vague recollection that Sun bought
- part of ISC, but not all ... Though I'm not sure that it's possible for
- the buyer in this sort of situation to be absolved from liability anyway.

- Breach of contract sounds good. They promised to deliver a working V4
- and all that was shipped was half of a broken one -- which they admitted.
- There were all kinds of promises in their advertising and elsewhere that
- were not kept.

- When ISC decided not to deliver on their promises they should have
- offered refunds. I remember being surprised that they didn't, even
- in light of their poor support on earlier products.
