  21. We use Dell SVR4 here as well, and also found that the system did not "support"
  22. 14.4K speeds.  According to what was told to me, 14.4 is a "standard" RS-232C
  23. baud and so you couldn't use it.  The solution?  Tell the system to use
  24. 38400 (which is a standard speed) for the 14400 modem.  The modem will still
  25. talk over the phone line at 14.4, but it will communicate with the serial
  26. port at 38.4.  Everyone is happy.
