  11. I am running SCO and ISC Unix side by side.  I am noticing a significant 
  12. difference in response in the two systems.  I am running them both as
  13. they were installed.  The systems are the same: 486/50, Adaptec 1542 (ISA)
  14. Micorpolis 600mb drives.  They have plane vanilla VGA screen cards one has
  15. a Trident and the other an ATI.  The Trident has a 1 meg memory and the
  16. ATI has 256k.

  18. I notice a pause when booting up when it prints out the motd and then gives
  19. the user prompt.  I also notice a hasitation in general, especially when I
  20. "exit the shell" and go back to the login.  Does the SCO need to be tweeked
  21. in order to get the performance up?
