- Applying the patch is no problem, once you know what pkgadd wants.
- Uncompress and detar the patch into a directory, /usr/foo for example.
- You should end up with a subdirectory in there called xdm. To actually
- apply the patch, use the command 'pkgadd -d /usr/foo'.

- dell1.dell.com which explains this? I too had to do a bit of digging
- to find out how it's done.)

- Just a guess -- I'm sure you'll get a more authoritative answer from
- someone else -- I would think that you'd have to disable the ttymon
- process on /dev/console and replace it with the xdm. sacadm(1) comes
- to mind as a place to look.
