- Clean system administration tools are almost nonexistent, about at the level
- of System III or even Version 7 in most cases. There are extremely odd
- mismatches in the system. For example, the system online docs are in Postscript,
- but to drive a Postscript printer without installing software culled from
- Usenet requires an additional $700 for NeWSprint even if you don't use the
- NeWS server for rendering. We have recently got a couple of Solaris 2.0
- licences and will be evaluating them... I'll post more later.
