- I an trying to configure my ISC 3.0.1 HPDD for my Adaptec 1542 and one
- Micorpolis 600mb drive. It asks for a SCSI ID and it has a default of
- 7. Am I correct in assuming that when I have no straps on my drive that
- I am assigning the SCSI ID of 0 to that drive and each strap (using the
- binary notation) indicates a more positive ID. If this is so, why is
- the default 7 in the HPDD? AND if I add a tape drive and address that
- as 001 (on the binary switches) do I also set the SCSI ID to 1 or do
- I set it to 6.
-
- To save bandwith I would appreciate email to ellis@epca.wpg.com. If
- there is any interest in summaries please email also and I will summarize.
-
- Thanks in advance for your time.
