  10. I an trying to configure my ISC 3.0.1 HPDD for my Adaptec 1542 and one
  11. Micorpolis 600mb drive.  It asks for a SCSI ID and it has a default of
  12. 7.  Am I correct in assuming that when I have no straps on my drive that
  13. I am assigning the SCSI ID of 0 to that drive and each strap (using the
  14. binary notation) indicates a more positive ID.  If this is so, why is 
  15. the default 7 in the HPDD?  AND if I add a tape drive and address that
  16. as 001 (on the binary switches) do I also set the SCSI ID to 1 or do
  17. I set it to 6.
