  12. I'm running Interactive UNIX 3.0 on a Dell 486 with an IDE
  13. controller, and also on a Wyse 386 with a ESDI controller.
  14. (Yes, I actually have two licenses...)
  15.  
  16. Anyway, I now need to install a CDROM drive on one (or both)
  17. of these machines, and I'm wondering if I'm going to run into
  18. any problems by adding a SCSI controller for the CDROM unit.
  19. (In other words, I don't want to have to replace the existing
  20. disk controller/hard disk...)

  22. Anybody know if there are any gotcha's I should be looking out
  23. for?  I was planning on buying either the NEC CDR74 or CDR84 with
  24. an Adaptec controller.

  26. I want to be able to access the CDROM from VP/ix as well...
