- Well, if you're willing to sit for over an hour swapping floppies, SCO
- ODT 2.0 does come distributed on floppies. Something like 48 3.5" ones...
-
- We're using it here, and I am fairly impressed at how easy it was to
- set up. My only complaint is that one of the packages we received had
- bad disks, and it took an extra half day before we figured that it was
- the disks causing panics during install, and not the hardware. There
- didn't seem to be any sort of verification process in the install.
-
- I also can't quite figure out how on friday last I had mail working between
- the SCO box and our DECStation, and monday when I came in and turned on the
- machine it doesn't work anymore, must have lost something in the startup
- files. :(
-
- I'm starting to see books about Unixware on the shelves in the bookstore
- now. Personally, I think it looks interesting, but still too expensive
- for my personal use.
