- I gave up on this one. If the domain name is short enough you can get
- "ypcat" and friends to work properly. However, there are still things that
- do not work. Apparently when Sun gave the source to USL they omitted a few
- important pieces from the kit, and thus it doesn't work on ANY SVR4 that
- comes from a USL base. USL, in turn didn't bother doing the work
- themselves, and thus you need source to fix it. Nice going Sun & USL.
-
- I wrote an "rdist" type program which was intelligent enough to do the right
- thing with the password and group files, and got it 95%+ working. That was
- my workaround.
-
- The automounter can be rdist-ed. That works ok.

- Yeah, this works ok, but make DAMN sure you only deliver mail in one place
- (on one machine). Be careful with this; set up properly it is perfectly ok,
- but if its wrong you will either have hung processes or lost mail.
-
- I suggest installing either IDA sendmail on the Dell or Smail3.
