- We have an application that runs on a sun workstation that runs sunos 4.1.3
- Sometimes (not very often) the application behaves as though a whole bunch of
- keystrokes (returns i guess) have been keyed in at the terminal. This
- happens both at the console and at terminals connected to the sun.
- The terminals are connected to the sun both directly and thro a xyplex terminal
- server. This happens in both the cases.
- Net result : application freaks completely.
-
- To me it seems like there are keystrokes stuck in the input (keyboard) buffer
- and the application reads these and behaves accordingly.
- How they got in the buffer i don't know .
-
- Any suggestions or hints or pointers on what to look for would be much
- appreciated becos i can't even think of where to start.
-
- Thanks
