- It looks like a FAQ, but after rummaging through rn(1) and The FAQ, it
- has no answer yet. Here is the detailed question:
-
- In rn, when you enter a newsgroup, rn will look up kill files (global
- or specific) and will not display (by =) those items killed by the kill
- files. After you junked an item, it will not be displayed either.
- Problem arise when you use "range{,range}s" esp. "1-$:s fname" to save
- a bunch of items. It will save all the item within the range INCLUDING
- the 'invisible' killed or junked items! Nobody want to save
- killed/junked items. It is definitely a BUG rather than a feature of
- rn. But is there a simple workaround in rn?
-
- Any hints/suggestions would be appreciated.
- If there are enough requests, I'll post the summary of the answers.
