- Hi all!,
-
- The subject pretty much says it all. We have a security minded bureau client
- who wants to have C2 security and auditing turned on for their box.
-
- Has anyone had any bad experience with it?. I've heard it isn't great, but what
- I really want to know is is it potentially hazardous?. The thing that worries
- me is that fsck apparantly generates an audit record. How can it do this if
- it doesn't know whether the file systems are clean or not? Is it likely to fill
- up the root file system?, etc ...
-
- Any info whatsoever would be appreciated, preferably by E-mail as I'm a busy
- little boy these days, and don't get alot of time to read news.
-
- As per usual, I will summarize, if enough interest is shown.
-
- Thanks in advance,
-
- Tony.
-
- BTW. The box is a Sparc Station 2 running Solaris 1.0.1
