  19. What bothers me is not *functional* NT but *functioning* NT.  Less
  20. than half the system calls I tried with Windows 3.1 worked as
  21. documented in the Device Driver Kit, and a substantial number of
  22. them simply caused Windows to exit silently.  It worries me that
  23. we seem to be getting pushed in the direction of adopting a system
  24. that pushes our porting costs sky high and results in the flakiest
  25. versions of our software.....
