  11. Hi,
  12.     I have a CMS Jumbo 120 tape drive.  (I purchased it when I was using
  13. MS-DOS -- It works fine there, but I don't use DOS any more.)  As I have two
  14. floppy drives I also purchased a controller for it - the FC-10.  I assume that
  15. this is also a CMS product.

  17.     The FC-10 is a "jumperless controller".  When I installed it under DOS
  18. the software asked me for DMA channel, Interupt number, and the base I/O
  19. address, which I supplied as 3, 6, 0x180.

  21.     When I try to probe() the controller I don't get any responce.
  22.  
  23.     Would the settings supplied under DOS be stored on the board some how,
  24. or would they only be stored in a file?  I know that the config is stored in 
  25. a file, but I don't know if this is for the board or the software.

  27.     Has anyone had any success probing any jumperless controller?  Has
  28. anyone got any suggestions?  Can anyone help me??
