  15.     I have just acquired a IBM proprinter for my 386BSD system. On 
  16. startup, the system sees the printer on the parallel port but it
  17. says that /dev/lp does not exist. I realize that I have to make 
  18. the node so here is my questions:

  20. 1 What major,minor numbers should I be using for it? I could not 
  21. find the numbers in the source.

  23. 2 Does any one have a printcap for the proprinter? I think I would
  24. like to experiment with it but would like a fall back.
