  13. About a week ago local domain name changes were made on our
  14. Sparc cluster (we are running SunOS Release 4.1.1).
  15. Since that time I am unable to run emacs on one particular
  16. machine, the others are ok. When I try to load emacs I lose
  17. all response to the operating system. No command works and I
  18. must get back to the terminal concentrator and start over.

  20. I have checked in my .login and .cshrc and see nothing odd.
  21. I disabled my .emacs and still have the problem.

  23. I am not very familiar with unix so if you have a suggestion
  24. please take this into account. Of course, it may not be a 
  25. unix problem.
