- I recently got AmigaNOS 2.9 with DiallingAmigaNos. I followed the
- instructions for automatic dialling using the DaillingAmigaNos program.
- I manage to get the modem to dial and connect to the local server.
- Then it just sits there and eventually times out. I am connecting using
- a SupraModem 2400 plus with V.42bis and MNP5. In SLIP:NOS-Startup
- and in TCPIP:NOS-Startup I specify a baud rate of 9600 for the attach
- command since I am connected with error correction and compression.
- I've tried looking at the docs for all the commands that come with
- AmigaNos and really can't figure out what to do. I eventually want
- to get GfxBases X-windows program. When I am at the local server (
- a DECServer) I can either type (c gate, TELNET, c machine-name) or
- just (TELNET ip-address of machine). If anyone knows how I can
- connect using SLIP, please E-mail me or post to the net. Thanks in advance.
