  11. Sorry.  This is a followup for people who do not seem to uderstand what I am
  12. asking.  First, this newsgroup is comp.UNIX.amiga, not comp.dos.amiga,
  13. or even comp.communications.amiga.  I WANT TO DOWNLOAD FROM A UNIX MACHINE
  14. TO A UNIX MACHINE.  I am currently using (on the amiga dos side) JrComm, which
  15. supports ZMODEM.  The only terminal program that I have for MY UNIX is
  16. a program called KERMIT.  There is nothing wrong with kermit.  I just want
  17. to use ZMODEM on MY UNIX.  I heard that there was a program called ZCOMM
  18. or something like that FOR UNIX, NOT AMIGADOS!!!!  If this is true, has
  19. anybody compiled it for the amiga?  Where can I get it???  Or, how do I
  20. use RZ/SZ in conjunction with kermit.  I have tried receiving from /dev/term/
  21. ser, but to no avail.

  28.   Look, I know there are some intelligent people who read this newsgroup.
  29. I asked a question to this forum a few weeks ago about an optimizer for UNIX,
  30. and recieved many ideas.  Do I have to start posting my UNIX questions to
  31. an amiga DOS newsgroup, and vice versa?  Come on guys.  I posted to this
  32. newsgroup 'cause it's got unix and amiga in it's name.  This is the second
  33. person (see previous article) who suggested that I use term 2.4.  IF IT
  34. WAS MADE FOR AMIGA UNIX, FINE...  SEND ME THE SOURCE CODE..., OTHERWISE,
  35. this is a UNIX question.  I DO NOT have this problem on AMIGA DOS!!!!
