- 1. *never* set the netmask to 0 (unless AMIX sets it by using ICMP request ?)

- of subnet its on

- 3. "Network unreachable" is a routing problem. check your routes using
- "netstat -r"

- 4. to add routes, et al, read the man pages for route, netstat and anything
- else related. ifconfig is something you should check up on and study.

- p.s. you should be able to work out what your netmask should be from your
- broadcast address.
