  13. I am trying to log ftp access to the system. I modified inetd.conf to
  14. have ftpd -l and syslog.conf file with these:

  16. *.crit     *
  17. *.warning  root,adm
  18. *.debug;mail.none    /var/info/syslog
  19.  
  20. I am not an expert in these as you may tell. So in my file I was getting
  21. messages from various other daemons. These included tdtpd, bootpd, my
  22. Mathematica server (also su sessions). I recompiled the bootpd code in
  23. /usr/lib/dwm and turned of debug. This worked but I could not do anything
  24. with others. Perhaps the solution is in syslog.conf file but I need help
  25. there.
