  13. Hi everyone, I know there are Faq archives concerning AIX, but I¼ve searched for
  14. for an answer to my problems in those files, and I couldn^t find it.

  16. so, here it is:
  17.  I have a RS 6K 320 networked with ps2^s (DOS) and Macs (MacOs) . The response time 
  18. from my Rs is very VERY slow. It takes up to 4sec./1 minute  to make a login via telnet
  19. from a Mac or a Ps2. I know the problem is in the RS, but I¼ve tried to configure it 
  20. in many diferent ways, without succes. It doesn^t work with NFS neither. 
  21. I thougth it was a problem with the old version AIX 3.1.5 and/or the ethernet card , 
  22. but the IBM guy changed the chip some months ago, and I updated the Os to 3.2,  but the 
  23. problem is still there.
