  19. Yes, something called a M-ACPA (M-Audio Capture and Playback Adaptor).
  20. I'm not familiar with any high-level software support but it has driver
  21. level support for Macintosh sound files as well as Sparc sound files
  22. (8-bit mu-law, as I recall), and many other formats.
