- Forgive me if this is a Frequently Asked Question.
-
- We need to play sound files on the RS 6000, presently 520, later 220 models.
-
- 1. Is there IBM technology for this?
- 2. Is there third-party technology for this?
- 3. Hardware or software? How much?
-
- We need to play sound clips of about 50 seconds each, about 100 of them,
- and call them from within Lucid Lisp 4.0/CLIM 1.1/CLX. The actual sound
- clips will originate from a Macintosh, so format conversion is an issue.
-
- I am aware that this is no problem on the Sparcstation. What about RS 6000?
