  13. Our Corporation is currently reviewing a proposal from several
  14. companies to provide us with hordes of machines and services.  The IBM
  15. proposal, one of these several, has listed under the title "Additional
  16. cost items" various packages (I assume) that I am seeking more
  17. information about, hopefully from people who have even been exposed to
  18. them first-hand.

  20. I have perused the recent FAQL postings but was unable to find related
  21. information therein.

  23. These additional cost items are (and I quote) the following:
  24.  
  25.   - Performance Analyzer PA/6000
  26.   - Systems Monitor 6000
  27.   - AIX Soft Dist (Push/Pull Mods)
  28.   - Uni-tree data archival
  29.   - High availability NFS
  30.   - Backup and restore    [my note: one can only assume they don't
  31.                            mean the standard Unix utilities, else it
  32.                            would not be listed under "Additional cost
  33.                            items"]
