  14.     I have been having problems with very slow response with dbx under
  15.     AIX 3.2.i on a IBM R/S 6000 550.  
  16.  
  17.     For instance when you try to execute "dbx> print variable 1" you will
  18.     sometimes wait for several minutes before you will get a response back.   
  19.  
  20.     At the time there where not very many users on the system [ around 5 ] and
  21.     the "iostat" statistics looked fairly reasonable as did the paging space.
