- Hi there,
-
- I realize that this is probably a fairly common question, but was curious if anyone had a
- summary of the various hard disk drives that were available for the IBM RS/6000 (models
- 520, 320 and 320h) and their experiences with them. We can get IBM drives for 50%
- of list, so that gives us a best deal of about $4800 for a 2.4G drive, but there are
- lots of other options if we do not follow the party line.
-
- Specifically, we are looking at drives that are 1G or bigger, and plug into an existing
- system WITH MINIMAL EFFORT. Any information that could be provided would be greatly
- appreciated. I would also be willing to summarize this to the group (assuming interest
- and lack of duplication with the work of others).
-
- Thanks in advance.
