  11. I need to write or find an existing filter that will check
  12. to make sure a file is color postscript before allowing it
  13. to be printed. Since we only have three or four applications
  14. that will do this I don't believe it will be difficult to
  15. customize the program that does the checking. 
  16. The problem is I can't find any information on lpd or lpr
  17. that I can use to help me create the filter.
  18. The intent is to check the file on the local machine and
  19. then send it to the remote machine were it will be printed.

  21. We are currently running SunOS 4.1.2.
