  12. I need help badly on how to switch a page style from two column
  13. to one column then back to two column. The reason for doing
  14. this is that I have long equation which cannot put into
  15. multi-line equations in two colum style. Using floats such as
  16. table environment in two column does not allow true float following
  17. the text. It can only put it on top of a page. Does any netters 
  18. know if there is a style/macro that can do this trick. Or better
  19. if an expert can enlight me on this seemed tough problem.

  29. Note: I use my adviser accounts temparily under his consent becuase
  30. this group does not appear in my Gnus, the email readnews equvalent. I
  31. must have killed it accidentally and don't know how to subscribe it
  32. back. I have tried "L" in Gnus and cannot find it, which may caused by
  33. the mistake I did when I unsubscribe newsgroup. If anynone knows how
  34. to resubscribe a new group by editing .newscr(?) file, please help
  35. me.
