-
- No, I've reported it already at the Paris EuroTeX meeting.
- (barbara: It's in the map where you have also my slides on the
- Golden Rules of Macro Coding. :-) :-)
-
- Another problem I reported there: TeX now has three extensions per
- default, not two (the new one is the language `whatsit's).
-
- Another one, in plain.tex: \raggedright doesn't work if you're
- switching fonts in between. (Interword spacing is wrong since it is
- set to a hard value.) [The LaTeX approach is not much better, I can
- show a lot of bad looking examples.]
-
- Another one: On page 453 (oct '89 hardcover edition) \lefthyphenmin
- and \righthyphenmin should be covered in the paragraph with the first
- dangerous bend. Perhaps with a reference to the next page where they
- are introduced in the second-to-last paragraph.
-
-
- But to be honest: The first one -- the double-printing of excercise
- 8.7 -- is most probably the printer's fault. I don't expect to see
- money for this. On the recto page of this sheet is the lion picture of
- chapter 9 (that's the Roman Lion). I think that AW messed this up when
- they didn't want to render the original again on slides.
