  13. Dear Tex Experts,

  15.    I am a new user of latex and the rest of the package, particularly
  16. BibTex.  I run these programs as part of the emTex package on my PC.
  17. In the old days when I was hooked on Troff and its side products,
  18. I used a program called `addbib' to create bibliographical data basis.
  19. This program was an interactive program that asked for author, journal,
  20. page number, etc.  It then created a file with approriate field indicator
  21. (eg.\author{}) inserted with each category. Now my question:

  23. IS THERE AN INTERACTIVE PROGRAM (FOR PCs) THAT CREATES A BIBLIOGRAPHY FILE
  24. USABLE BY BIBTEX THAT I MAY GET FROM SOME FTP CITE?

  26. Some kind folks on the net have told me about programs for x-windows.
  27. Would you know of any thing that runs on a PC.
