  10. Here is a difficult question for bibstyle hackers:

  12. I want to suppress formating of page entries with ranges, even if
  13. they are given in the database. That means, an entry of the form

  15. page = {2345-2349},
  16.  
  17. should be processed to 2345 in the .bbl-file.

  19. I looked around for bibstyles with an alternate "n.dashify"-function,
  20. but found none.

  22. Before I'm going to hack on this, I'd like to ask the net (you), if
  23. somebody has done it before.
