  13. This is sort of an urgent question, as my book is in production. Please
  14. email responses, and I'll summarize to the group.

  16. I have chapter titles which contain registered trademark symbols. The
  17. R symbol is in the Symbol font, the rest of the title is in Helvetica
  18. bold.  I have defined running heads to use the chapter title. But when I
  19. print them out, the R from the title appears as a double-quote in the
  20. running head (probably because the running head is defined in an italic
  21. Helvetica font, not Symbol)--I do not want the R to show up in the
  22. running head AT ALL. I could live with it showing up as an R. I can't
  23. live with the double-qoute!
