  26. I'd be VERY happy if someone could tell me if they succeded printing on 
  27. the new Canon (model clc10 as they call it outside US) from a SUN using
  28. FrameMaker (or any other packages I should ask).

  30. Unfortunately Canon does not provide yet a driver (neither a postscript
  31. interpreter) for the SUN so I connected it on a MacII on the same net
  32. which runs the "Freedom of Press" postscript interpreter and a spooler.

  34. Using the above settup anyone on the net can specify "color" for
  35. the printer name in their FrameMaker and get the output send to the Canon.
  36. The problem is that the prolog that the FrameMaker on the SUNs is using
  37. is not the same as the one on the FrameMaker on the Mac, thus the 
  38. Canon gives me the anoying "Dictfull" error message I mentioned some
  39. time ago to this newsgroup.
  40. (since then I discovered that I could save .MIF format on the SUN,
  41. then load it on the Mac and print the file from there, which works just fine!)

  43. Anybody got a better FrameMaker prolog file I can use when sending to
  44. Canon ? (or it's just OK to replace the one on the SUNs whith the
  45. one I uploaded from the Mac ;-)
