  12. Could be that you don't have enough memory. There are times when
  13. Frame will tell you that it is running out of memory (building a
  14. book comes to mind), but most of the time, it doesn't.

  16. I have had Frame crash due to lack of memory of a Sun workstation
  17. (import a nice GIF with several files open), an NCD x term and
  18. Sparc station combo (do anything besides run Frame) and under
  19. SCO's OpenDesktop on a 386 machine.

  21. My advice: Save frequently. Force the core dump file size to 0.
  22. (I know this can be done, just not how.) Run perfmeter to watch
  23. memory usage. Upgrade your hardware. Be wary of memory intensive
  24. operations.
