  11. After reading the FAQ, I'm not sure if this is the right group for this
  12. question but here goes.

  14. My organization publishes a significant number of manuals with some
  15. individual manuals running >3800 pages. Our desire is to move toward
  16. distribution on CD-ROM using Hypertext.

  18. I know virtually nothing about Hypertext except that the document is
  19. "databased" and tables of pointers are built (and of course that's probably
  20. not right :-} ).

  22. Can someone give me references describing Hypertext and maybe pointers to
  23. some software packages?
