  11. We have a Tektronics 4105 terminal which is intermittently failing,
  12. requiring rebooting which results in the following message:
  13. "Self Test Error - Nonvolitile Parameters failure - Defaults Reset"

  15. Any comments?

  17. I'm presuming that the EEPROM is failing to hold its data and that the
  18. EEPROM is "past its best". I'm also presumimg that it does use EEPROM as
  19. there are no signs of battery backup. We do not have a manual at $583.65
  20. which is what we were quoted!
