- I have a TeleVideo 965 terminal that I recently took out of the attic
- and gave to a friend. I remember having a hard time getting it to
- be useful when I used it several years ago, but I eventually got it
- to act (mostly) like a glass tty. Being of the generation that
- grew up using real teletypes, I was willing to be content with that.
-
- The young lady I've lent the terminal to is of a different generation:
- her baseline is an x-terminal. She wants to be able to live in emacs
- pretty nearly all the time when using the terminal. Hence my questions:
-
- The environment is ULTRIX V4.2A (Rev. 47). We haven't been able to
- find a termcap for the tvi 965 in native mode at all; does anybody
- out there happen to have one kicking around?
-
- Didn't think so. ;^) Okay, the terminal has the following emulations
- built in. Which of these emulations is going to provide the richest
- environment for an emacs user? Which am I likely to be able to find
- a termcap for?
