- Hello,
-
- I have need of information concerning the use of the escape key on a unisys
- uvt1224 terminal while connected to a unix box by modem.
-
- One of my contingency has a unisys uvt1224 at home, and says that, whenever
- he calls in over a Microcom 9600 baud modem, his escape key "emits a sequence of
- characters which include '~' and tends to capitalize letters" on him. This,
- of course, makes working with vi a real bear.
-
- Does anyone know anything about this and a solution for it?
-
- Please mail me at the address you see below, or just send the info to this
- newsgroup.
-
- Thanks a bunch.
