  11. If you have TRSDOS, you could use the comm utility untill you find a
  12. better terminal program.  I think you first must issue a command in
  13. trsdos: set *cl com/dvr to set a driver for the serial port.  Then the
  14. comm utility should run.  Also the trsdos setcom command can be used to
  15. set up the baud rate, word length, and parity.  I think the syntax takes
  16. the form: setcom (b=2400,w=8,p=no).

  18. The best solution, probably, will be to download a terminal program from
  19. a bbs to eventually replace the comm utility.
