- I was thinking about getting a SUN IPC(or a 1+) for use at home and wanted
- to run it pretty much as I do at work for developing some new X-applications.
- I planned on doing data transfers with a modem or simply on 3.5" floppy.
-
- After talking to some people here at work they are under the impression that I
- need some sort of a server as well (another $4000-$5000). What's the deal?
- I'm sure that other people are running X11R4 (tvtwm window manager)on a IPC at
- home with less than 1gig disk. If you can help I'd appreciate it.
