  12. In an attempt to install a printer card onto a Sparcstation 1, I,
  13. according to directions, unwrapped the sucker, plugged it into
  14. slot 1, and tried to install the device drivers, which informed
  15. me that no such card was present.  Same result after switching
  16. the card to slot 2.  Now, other than the obvious possibility of
  17. the card being defective, what could have gone wrong, and is
  18. there any way of diagnosing the problem?
