- Sun obviously wants to sell enough machines that run 2.x to force software
- firms to provide packages for them. On the other hand, HP, IBM, Dec might
- already have the software ported to their platform, without the hassle of
- waiting for Sol2 to reach the critical mass, and to have all bugs mangled
- out. So perhaps Sun is making you choose other vendors ? How do you act ?
- You don't want to buy a Sun you can't use just to wait for your application
- to eventually be ported do you ?
