  19. Sun obviously wants to sell enough machines that run 2.x to force software 
  20. firms to provide packages for them. On the other hand, HP, IBM, Dec might
  21. already have the software ported to their platform, without the hassle of
  22. waiting for Sol2 to reach the critical mass, and to have all bugs mangled
  23. out. So perhaps Sun is making you choose other vendors ? How do you act ?
  24. You don't want to buy a Sun you can't use just to wait for your application
  25. to eventually be ported do you ?
