  13. I've got one of ye olde Model 511 SCSI shoeboxes, stock, with a 380m
  14. Micropolis, a 60m tape, and two Emulex controllers.

  16. The bloody thing will work fine on an SS1+ and on an IPC, but the tape
  17. is not recognized on an ELC or a 3/80.  probe-scsi on the ELC only turns
  18. up the disk.  Neither ELC nor 3/80 can boot from tape (device not found).
  19. Same cable, etc.

  21. Another wierness is that said footrest used to work with the same 3/80,
  22. but no longer.  Why should it become choosy suddenly?
