- I've got one of ye olde Model 511 SCSI shoeboxes, stock, with a 380m
- Micropolis, a 60m tape, and two Emulex controllers.
-
- The bloody thing will work fine on an SS1+ and on an IPC, but the tape
- is not recognized on an ELC or a 3/80. probe-scsi on the ELC only turns
- up the disk. Neither ELC nor 3/80 can boot from tape (device not found).
- Same cable, etc.
-
- Another wierness is that said footrest used to work with the same 3/80,
- but no longer. Why should it become choosy suddenly?
-
- Hints GREATLY appreciated!!
-
- TIA,
