- I've run into a problem with Sun GKS displaying output on a monochrome
- monitor. The system in question is a Sparc 1 running SunOS 4.1.2 and GKS 4.1.
- The program correctly opens a window, but randomly displays sections of the
- output. It does produce the correct output when the program creates a
- postscript file for printing. The strange behavior only happens on a monochrome
- monitor. In color, the workstation output displays the whole plot. This
- program used to work before I upgraded from SunOS 4.0.x and an older version
- of GKS. The problem occurs whether I'm using OpenWindows 3, X11R5 or X11R4.
-
- I don't have the GKS manuals, so I can't tell what changed between the
- versions. I haven't seen any patches for GKS. If anyone has any ideas, please
- help me. Right now, I've got a professor really pissed off me.
