  23. An alternative is to apply adb to sr_conf.o (or directly to /vmunix)
  24. and change a same-length vendor name that you don't use to the one
  25. that you do use.  In this case, the name Hitachi can be overlaid
  26. with Toshiba (in two places, one is all upper case) and all should
  27. be well (assuming you don't also have an Hitachi CD-ROM on the same
  28. machine :-).  You could also patch Unrecongized while you're at it,
  29. though there's probably no point in doing so.
