  13. I have a question to pose the Net and see if anyone out there has had the same 
  14. experiences that I'm experiencing.  This is related to AutoCad release 11 
  15. running on Intel-based machines connected to a server using PC-NFS 4.0.  The 
  16. server is a Sun Sparcstation 2 running SunOs 4.1.1.

  18. I was involved in the installation of the Sun and the connecting of the PCs to 
  19. the server via an ethernet network.  At the same time I installed the server, 
  20. the AutoCad software was upgraded to release 11.  Ever since then, they have 
  21. been experiencing file corruption on the AutoCad data files.  I am trying to 
  22. figure out if this is a network related issue or an AutoCad related one.  Funny
  23.  
  24. thing is that release 11 of AutoCad has a new "feature":  Recover damaged 
  25. files.  This is the feature that needs to be used to recover these damaged 
  26. files.  The corruption also occurs when the files are saved to the "C:" drives 
  27. as well.  I'm pretty sure that rules out a network related issue with PC-NFS, 
  28. but I'm checking to cover my bases.

  30. If anyone has had experiences with this type of scenario, or one similar to 
  31. this, I would certainly appreciate it.
