- I'm setting up my Sun (I'm trying to at least) to use a name server.
- When I run nslookup, I get the name and address of my default server
- and I can query it to my heart's delight. When I run (ping/telnet/ftp/whatever)
- with a host that is not in my local host file, I get "unknown host" My
- resolv.conf file looks like this:
-
- janis% cat /etc/resolv.conf
- domain gtri.gatech.edu
- nameserver 128.61.1.251
- nameserver 128.61.1.1
- janis%
-
- I have rebooted my machine since I set this up, but still it doesn't work.
-
- Any help would be greatly appreciated.
