- Is there a simple way to log all the output
- that goes to the console to a file somewhere?
- The file /var/adm/messages only contains some
- of the console messages.
-
- Case in point, one of our servers has two tape
- drives attached to it. From time to time during
- backups I get error messages, out of media,
- recoverable errors, that sort of thing.
-
- But if I don't see the console messages and note
- them somewhere, they are lost.
-
- Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, John
