  13. Is there a simple way to log all the output
  14. that goes to the console to a file somewhere?
  15. The file /var/adm/messages only contains some
  16. of the console messages.

  18. Case in point, one of our servers has two tape
  19. drives attached to it.  From time to time during
  20. backups I get error messages, out of media, 
  21. recoverable errors, that sort of thing.  
  22.  
  23. But if I don't see the console messages and note
  24. them somewhere, they are lost.
