- We currently have 2 QBlazer modems connected to SPARC 2 workstations. Users
- can dial in and out with no problems. One problem we are seeing is when long files
- are catted out over the modem, about halfway though the cat the file starts losing
- characters. It appears that every other character is making over the line. Once the
- prompt is back, things act normal again. XON/XOFF works allowing the transmission to
- stop, and the display of the file is not corrupted.
-
- In trying different options, I have fixed the speed between the SPARC and QBlazer to
- 9600 baud, and am using both hardware and software flow control. Has anybody else
- seen this problem, and if so is there a fix for it?
-
- Thanks for your help.
